The NuttyCircuits PIR-Analog Motion Detector Board is a companion board for the Passive Infrared Motion Detector Design book. The book covers the analog circuit design schematic associated with the PIR-Analog board. The book also explains how motion sensors work, describes the use of  Fresnel lenses, and provides several motion sensing electronic designs that support a great number of sensors available on the market today.

The images depicted on this page are in reference to the original design that was offered for many years starting in 1995. The board is being redesigned for the book release with newer surface mounted components and modifications to allow better stability in support of the newer less stable and cheaper motion sensors.
